William Thomson Kelvin (Lord Kelvin), British physicist and mathematician (1824 – 1907), expressed: “What is not defined cannot be measured. What is not measured can not be improved. "What is not improved is always degraded."
In the electrical system, measurements are often partial, or in many cases, entirely absent due to various reasons. Some systems still rely on outdated methods like relays, dial meters, or manual techniques for these measurements. Without proper measurement, it becomes challenging to set corporate policies, manage resources, and ensure effective monitoring and control. This lack of accurate data can lead to misguided strategies. As Peter Drucker aptly noted, “There is nothing so useless as efficiently doing something that should not have been done.”

Our Solutions

Our solutions are the sum of several activities consisting of intelligent measurement systems (Smart Meters), the telecommunications system, based on different protocols such as TCP/IP or IEC61850 and the storage and pre-processing system based on the state estimator, which in essence allows us to know ALL the variables of a system from some partial measurements. It is a modern implementation of data acquisition from SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems.
