MOPEE – Map of Operations in Electrical Engineering

Currently, education is disjointed from society, that is, the objectives pursued by education are of little use to people's needs.

Because it is impossible for a person to be self-sufficient in everything needed to live, there is a natural division of activities – work – to create goods, products and services. One of the main objectives of education is to train people with adequate knowledge that allows them to create goods, products and services in sufficient quantity and quality – interesting for others – to exchange them for the other goods, products and services that other people produce. Therefore, education disconnected from society severely limits the ability to survive, giving rise to the creation of many strange concepts, misinterpretations, distortions, imbalances and a whole range of theories and philosophies that cause all of society's current problems.

Our Solution

To rearticulate education with society, it is then proposed to correct both the methodology by replacing classrooms with workshops or laboratories and to reorient the content with the use of operation maps that allow identifying what, how, when and why things are done. For example, the MOPEE (Map of Electrical Engineering Operations) brings together all the currently known activities for the development of electrical energy, which guide the creation of electrical goods, products and services and thus meet the needs of people in matters of energy.
