Data transmission on power lines

Power lines can be used for data transmission in addition to the natural electrical energy transmission service. Currently, several methodologies have been developed based on high-frequency systems (≥100 MHz) using power distribution cables as waveguides instead of antennas, implementing broadband duplex networks, even greater than 1 Gbit/s in each direction.

Our Solutions

With the use of new PLT (Power Linte Telecommunication) technologies, it is proposed to make use of transmission and distribution networks for telecommunications, mainly in the remote monitoring and control of electrical systems, with the purpose of obtaining the details of the operation , because currently – due to its great density and complexity – its detailed measurement, calculations or simulation are very complex.
